Gaza Civilians Left Exposed in Israeli Invasion

Interesting choice of words, that title.

Left exposed?

Shouldn't that be "Explosed"?

This is some great Orwellian language too:

“The guiding principle of Israel's ground invasion is to move in with full force and try to minimize Israeli casualties, Israeli military correspondent Alex Fishman wrote in the daily Yediot Ahronoth. "We'll pay the international price later for the collateral damage and the anticipated civilian casualties," Fishman said.”

Wow. So forget the idea that the "collateral damage" or "civilian casualties" are accidental. They're actually planned.

And the picture that goes with it? So that's an "exposure"? Oh yeah. A picture is worth a thousand barbs.

  1. Aha. Well, I was just pointing out the Orwellian hypocrisy in the media's choice of words. I actually said nothing about which side was right or wrong if you look again. But yes, us Americans are well trained in methods of hypocrisy. Of course, George Orwell was British and pointed out the sheer elegance of the British model.

  2. Joan, Your post still reads like you're pro Arab and anti-Israeli. Actually both sides are wrong and both are blood thirsty.

I would think the world would have been better served if both Arab and Jew had not existed in the first place. If I could go back in time, I would kill Abraham and thus prevent the creation of both the Jew and the Arab. (Of course, that would mean I would have to believe in the myth of Abram in the first place!)

  3. I am pro-Palestine and anti-Zion. The Zionist State is using firepower and high tech weapons beyond necessity. The myth is that Palestine belongs to the Jews. Gaza belongs to Palestinian Arabs not the Jews.

I'm against fighting over land and killing babies. How can you equate a human life with a dog or cat, by the way? Too bad our lives are so cushy that we can't imagine bombs flattening our houses. We can only imagine them flattening the dog house.
